IESF WEC 2022 has officially ended. For nearly 2 weeks, Indonesia was the host of the IESF World Esports Championship 2022, a world-class esports competition under the International Esports Federation which was attended by a total of 106 countries with nearly 700 athletes participating.
IESF WEC 2022 competes in 6 game titles with 7 match numbers including Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG Mobile, eFootball, Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO), DOTA 2, and TEKKEN 7.
The competition process has now completed and below are the complete results from the list of IESF WEC 2022 champions from various sports:
1. CS:GO Female: Poland
For the female division, the team from Poland, namely Natus Vincere (Na`Vi) managed to win after defeating the Argentine team in the final round. Appearing mighty and undefeated, Indonesia also had to surrender at the hands of Poland.
2. DOTA 2: Indonesia
Fielding the best Indonesian squad (Indonesia All-Stars) consisting of Dreamocel, Womy, Whitemon, Hyde, Mikoto and Jhocam and Aville, the Indonesian representatives succeeded in becoming the world champion for the DOTA 2 branch.
The struggle wasn’t easy, as they had to go to the lower bracket to fight for their lives in every match. Though, it did not dampen the fire of the fighting spirit of the country's well-known players. Appearing to face the Philippines in the final, they made it through without a hitch and the victory went to Indonesia.
3. PUBG Mobile: Kazakhstan
Represented by Titan Gaming who previously competed in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC), the Kazakhstan team managed to come out on top regardless of the busy schedule. Not so prominent on the first day, their ability to read the opponent's strength became an important factor behind Kazakhstan's victory.
4. CS:GO Men: North Macedonia
Appearing as the defending champion of the CS:GO esports did not burden the North Macedonia team to repeat the beautiful history. Represented by the BLUEJAYS International team, they managed to crush various well-known teams.
Facing IHC Esports (Mongolia) in the final BO7 series, North Macedonia managed to beat them with a landslide of 3-1.
5. TEKKEN 7: Pakistan
The current Tekken 7 number one player, Arslan Ash, showed the World why the title fits him. Appearing Kunimitsu as his main character, he managed to easily conquer the tournament from the start to finish.
6. eFootball: Indonesia
Indonesia's pride eFootball athlete, Elga “Elgacor” Cahya Putra has succeeded in writing a new history for Indonesia as he won the IESF 2022 title. Elga's performance during the playoffs to the Grand Final is pretty much perfect. He defeated various opponents, from Serbia, Saudi Arabia, to Argentina, without a hitch.
7. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang: Indonesia
The last branch that was contested in IESF WEC 2022 events, became a fierce rematch between Indonesia and the Philippines. The two met on the first day, Saturday (03/12/22) with Indonesia winning.
Looking for revenge as well as defending the title as the strongest Mobile Legends team, they failed to defeat Indonesia in the Grand Final, passing the crown to them.
