Genshin Impact is returning one of the time-limited area “Golden Apple Achipelago” in the new 2.8 patch! Re-explore the islands as something new has appeared and it is up to us travelers to explore. Along with the 2.8 patch are returning characters like Kazhua, Klee, and Yoimiya; PLUS a new character named Heizou as the featured 4 star. 

2.8 focuses on the New Story Quest and Hangout Kazuha and Heizou respectively. In the Acer Palmatum Act 1, we learn more about Kazuha and his family. Heizou will have his own hangout event which you can experience a day filled with adventure with the newest member of Genshin Impact.  

New events like the Summertime Odyssey will happen as you explore with characters like Mona, Fishcl, Xinyan, and Kazuha. And all of this happens in the returning but upgraded island! Under this Summertime Odyssey are events like Reminiscent Regimen, a co-op specific event consisting in multiple challenges, obstacles and trials you and your friends can play!  

Did we mention you can get a FREE outfit for Fischl? Just complete the Resonating Visions event and get new outfit for free! Also if you are a fan of Diluc, then his new Hidden Strife outfit should be perfect for you! This is an event that let’s you try out the very first 5-star skin of Diluc. Complete the event and get various rewards. And if you like it, you can purchase the skin in the shop! 

There are also mini-games like the Evermotion Mechanical Painting which features gear-like puzzles. Completing this gives you new furniture for your Serenitea Pot.
