A surprising news comes from Indonesian Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Indonesia esports team, Bigetron Alpha, who officially ended their partnership with two Philippines in their squad, Markyyyy (Player) and Coach Pauloexpert (Analyst).
The breakup between Markyyyy and Bigetron Alpha is definitely the most surprising. The reason is, both parties showed good progress during MPL Indonesia.
Markyyyy was brought in from ONIC PH in MPL ID S10 to fill the Goldlaner position. Markyyyy, who has a a lot of hero pool, successfully brought Bigetron Alpha far into the Playoffs, despite failing to penetrate the Grand Final round.
In MPL ID S11, Markyyyy had become Bigetron Alpha's main Goldlaner, before his position was shifted by Saken from the MDL Bigetron Beta team. As a result, Bigetron Alpha has gone home since the first day of Playoffs, where Markyyyy did not make a single appearance in the round.
No one expected Markyyyy to be released as the player's presence would add depth to Bigetron Alpha's roster, before the official @bigetronesports account officially announced its farewell to the Philippines player.
Markyyyy was released along with new Analyst Pauloexpert who joined MPL ID S11. Pauloexpert's appearance in Bigetron Alpha had brought a big change at the end of the MPL ID S11 Regular Season, although in the end it had to go home early in the Playoffs.
With this announcement, Markyyyy is officially the first Philippines player to be released by the MPL Indonesia team. This leaves Baloyskie, Janaaqt, Kairi, and Dlar as the only Filipino players still in Indonesia.
It is not yet known where Markyyyy and Pauloexpert will be anchored after being released from Bigetron Alpha, whether they will return to the Philippines or still try to get a place in MPL Indonesia. The fact is, Markyyyy still qualified enough to compete with other players in the Goldlaner position, and the player will easily find a new home.
Good luck for the next journey, Markyyyy and Pauloexpert!
