Philippines Wins 2023 SEA Games Gold Medal Thrice in a Row

Cambodia's 2023 SEA Games Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) belongs to the Philippines once again, and this is the third consecutive gold medal for the country.

The third day of the SEA Games 2023 MLBB opened with a Bronze Medal Match between Cambodia vs Myanmar, followed by a Gold Medal Match that pitted Malaysia vs Philippines.

In the final, Philippines met Malaysia, the team that defeated them in the Group Stage. The position of the two teams is considered balanced because they have an equally strong and experienced roster.

However, the Philippines does deserve the title of the country with the strongest MLBB team in the world for now. Facing Malaysia in the Grand Final, the Philippines won with a landslide score of 3-0.

Malaysia put up a fierce fight in games 1 and 2, where both games lasted more than 20 minutes. Malaysia persevered to continue defending the base, but the Philippines were still much stronger.

Entering game 3, Malaysia looked like they lost their spurs. The Philippines, powered by BREN Esports players, finished the final game of the SEA Games 2023 Gold Medal Match in just 10 minutes, and claimed the gold medal.

This is the third consecutive gold medal for the Philippines in MLBB, and shows their dominance in the international esports scene. In other words, no other country has ever won a gold medal in MLBB other than the Philippines.

In the Bronze Match Medal match of the 2023 SEA Games, Myanmar defeated host Cambodia by a score of 2-0. Despite the win, both countries are still entitled to a bronze medal.

Congratulations to the Philippines as well as Nice Try for Malaysia who have fought their best to get a silver medal.
