ShahZaM and dapr Join G2 Esports!

Two key players from the Sentinels, namely ShahZaM and dapr recently left the team that raised them and decided to join a non-franchise team, G2 Esports. Their exit to G2 Esports reinforces the fact that the team is “alive” and will continue to compete in the Valorant scene.

Even though they failed to enter the list of teams registered in the Valorant League franchise, it seems that G2 Esports still want to try out next season.

If you missed the news, G2 Esports had actually been confirmed to enter the Valorant franchise, but in the end it was canceled because of the “drama” that occurred, where the CEO was caught partying with one of the influencers, Andrew Tate.

Another one was when there was a rumor that the CEO wants to sell the G2 Esports slot in the biggest League of Legends tournament, Worlds. Although denied by management, it is still unclear what happened at the time.

Anyway, the arrival of Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan and Michael "dapr" Gulino to G2 Esports completes the new roster that management is currently building. It’s been reported that the two top North American players left the Sentinels due to their poor results last season.

Here’s the current roster for the G2 Esports Valorant division for next season:

  • Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan
  • Michael “dapr” Gulino
  • Erik “penny” Penny
  • Maxim “wippie” Shepelev
  • Francis "OXY" Hoang

G2 Esports will target Challenger Circuit to enter the North America Regional League next season. If that happens, we will see Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan and Michael "dapr" Gulino go head-to-head with his former team, the Sentinels.
