Level Infinite Indonesia and PBESI held a ceremony for 6 Indonesian PUBG Mobile teams who will go to PMSL SEA Fall 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event took place at CGV Grand Indonesia this Friday (28/7/23).
In attendance at the press conference were Agung Chaniago, Country Manager of Level Infinite Indonesia and Richard Permana, Vice Chairman of Referees and Coaches of PBESI. The six Indonesian representative teams that will play in the upcoming PMSL fall season come with a full squad, namely Alter Ego Ares, Bigetron Red Villains, Persija EVOS, RRQ, BOOM Esports, and Morph GPX.
By the new tagline #LanjutanTradisiJuara, PUBG Mobile Indonesia hopes that athletes can bring back the achievements of champions that have been obtained by Indonesia in the PUBG Mobile esports branch in various competitions.
Previously, Indonesia, represented by Alter Ego Ares, had secured the championship in PMSL SEA Spring 2023. Now, the Ares team is participating again and is expected to keep the previous season's trophy. In addition, at the 2023 SEA Games, the Indonesian national team won a gold medal and a silver medal for this competition.
Therefore, optimism is increasing for pro players who will compete in the PUBG Mobile tournament for the Southeast Asia region. Moreover, SEA's dominance in the esports scene is also strengthening after Vampire Esports' victory at the PMWI 2023 event.
The six Indonesian teams will stay in Malaysia for the next month. PMSL SEA Fall 2023 will be held on August 2-27. A total of 20 teams will compete in the league round for 16 tickets to the finals. With the new points counting format, it feels like the upcoming league round will be harder than the previous competition.
Not only fighting for the title of King of SEA, this PMSL season will also be a place for the six Indonesian teams to qualify for the 2023 PMGC. There are six tickets up for grabs in this Southeast Asian tournament. It's a big number but the competition from SEA teams is getting stronger, making it not easy to finish in the Top 6 of the final standings.
