Team REBORN is the Champion of UniPin Ladies Series MY/SG Season 1!

UniPin Ladies Series (ULS) MY/SG Season 1 has successfully wrapped their event up and found their champion, team REBORN. The Singaporean team managed to beat Rose Ophelia in the Grand Final on Saturday (27/06/22) evening, with a final score of 4-1.

If you missed this tournament, Team REBORN was also the Regular Season Champion of the tournament, where they led the leaderboard with a perfect score. The team never lost in the league and secured their way to the Playoffs’ Upper Bracket Semi-Final directly.

However, Rose Ophelia who won against Home Girls on their Playoffs’ first match, won over REBORN which put the team in the Lower Bracket. That was their ONLY defeat in this ULS MY/SG Season 1.

Then, they met team Red Roses in the Final Lower Bracket, which was beaten by Rose Ophelia in the Final Upper Bracket. REBORN managed to beat them, and once again went to face Rose Ophelia for revenge in the Grand Final.

The game opened with total domination by Rose Ophelia. It seems some of the role changes in team REBORN didn’t suit each other much. This ruined their teamwork and they lost the game as a result.

Keeping their momentum from game 1, Rose Ophelia once again dominated the second game. However, something unexpected happened, where they were wiped out by REBORN, after trying to end the game. The tide turned back and REBORN pushed straight to their opponent's base for an epic comeback.

The same thing, more or less, happened again in game 3. Rose Ophelia couldn’t finish their opponent once again and was too hasty. With a match point for REBORN, the team poured their everything into game 4 and sealed the deal with a game full of domination.

With that, the ULS MY/SG Season 1 was born, with team REBORN crowned as the Queen and Rose Ophelia as the Runner Up, congratulations! We’ll see them both again in the upcoming UniPin Ladies Series SEA Championship (USC) that is currently planned to be held in August. See you!
