Valorant Masters 2023 is in Japan!

Japan has been chosen to be the home of Valorant Masters 2023 by Riot Games. This happens not without reasons. Many game developers are currently holding their big tournaments in Asia, because of how big the fanbase is in the region. It is also the home of many big esports teams which have won several tournaments of certain game genres.

There’s not long to go until the 2023 Valorant Champions Tour season kicks off, and it’ll be different from what we’re used to. With three regional leagues consisting of 10 teams in each of them, a lot has changed from past competitive cycles.

The upcoming 2023 season format will be a bit different than usual. From a massive 30-team kick-off tournament in February, to Challenger Leagues, Masters and LCQ, the whole year will be packed with action.

As it turns out, during the 2023 Champions Tour we’ll be heading to Japan for Valorant’s second-ever event in Asia. The fans must be ecstatic to hear this.

The VCT regular season will take place in Los Angeles, Seoul, and Berlin. Meanwhile, the pre-season tournament will be held in Sao Paulo and will take place in February 2023. The winner of the pre-season event will get a slot at the Valorant Masters event in Tokyo, Japan.

Valorant's international tournament, the Valorant Masters, returns in June in Tokyo, featuring the best teams from each regional league. This event will award the top teams from each region with direct qualification to the Champions, the biggest tournament in Valorant.

Announced at the ONE Pro Valorant Invitational in Japan, the popular FPS tournament will be returning to the region next year. Tokyo was chosen to be the host of the next Valorant Masters. Although no set date was confirmed, it’ll make sense that Masters Tokyo will be held in June because it is the only Masters event scheduled for the 2023 season.

In the past years, we’ve seen most of Valorant’s international tournaments being held in Europe, like in Reykjavik and Berlin. Then, as a change of pace, Valorant Champions was held in Turkey a few months ago. Yup, that was the first event held on another continent.

Now, the crowd can be excited, because the next Valorant Masters will visit Asia. Now that the pandemic is almost over, Tokyo will definitely be crowded next summer. Are you ready?
