Vrendini, The First Filipino to Resign from Indonesia Esports Scene

Shocking news was announced by Bigetron Esports! Vrendini officially departed from his coach position in Bigetron Alpha, the main team of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Division. The announcement is on the Bigetron Esports’ official Instagram account.

For those of you who missed the recent season of MPL ID, Vrendini came to Indonesia and became the coach of Bigetron Alpha. Bigetron was attracted to Vrendini because he managed to bring the TNC to rank 3 in MPL PH S9. There is no doubt about his quality.

However, the partnership between Vrendini and Bigetron Alpha encountered many obstacles. Starting from not being there for their foster children in the first week of MPL ID S10, to the language barrier that made Bigetron Alpha struggling in the early stage of Regular Season (before Mozia came as an Analyst as well as a translator).

But, do note that Bigetron Alpha's results in MPL ID S10 have improved compared to the previous season, where they managed to get 4th Place of the Season. However, this result does not seem to be in accordance with the wishes of the management of Bigetron Esports, that they decided to release the coach.

Vrendini's departure left fans confused, because Bigetron Alpha are going to play in the Piala Presiden Esports 2022 and MPLI 2022 tournaments. So, the presence of a coach will be needed to deal with the busy schedule.

Unfortunately, this is a unanimous decision for both parties. The CEO of Bigetron Esports, Edwin Chia a.k.a. Starlest, revealed the reason why his party decided to separate with Vrendini.

“We said goodbye to Vren, because he didn't suit the players here," said Starlest on one of his live streams.

Starlest then revealed that Razeboy will act as temporary coach of Bigetron Alpha, although his status has not been officially confirmed by Bigetron Esports. But, this statement makes Bigetroopers even more confused, considering Razeboy is the coach of Bigetron Beta which is also participating in the Piala Presiden Esports 2022.

It will be interesting to see how Bigetron Alpha and Bigetron Beta do in the upcoming tournaments, after Vrendini departed from the coaching chair. What do you think?
