The PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2022 is getting close! After revealing the new format that will be implemented in this tournament, this time there is new information regarding the location of the PMGC 2022 tournament.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was chosen as the host for the League Stage. A total of 48 of the best PUBG Mobile teams from all over the world will fight each other to become champions while bringing home a total prize of 4 million USD or the equivalent of 62 billion rupiah.

Previously, PMGC 2022 was scheduled to start taking place on November 22, 2022. However, Tencent decided to advance the date to 12 days earlier due to the new format.

The format that will be used by PMGC 2022 will be divided into two rounds, namely the League Stage and the Grand Final. Of the 48 League Stage participants, only 13 teams will continue their journey to the Grand Finals.

There are three paths that the team can take to reach the Grand Final, namely through the Group Stage, Survival, and Last Chance. The League Stage itself will start from November 10 to December 4, 2022. Indonesia will be represented by three teams, namely Bigetron Red Aliens, EVOS Reborn, and Genesis Dogma Gids.

So, where will the PMGC 2022 Grand Final take place? It turns out that Jakarta has been chosen as the host! The Grand Final will take place on January 6 - 8, 2023, and will bring together 13 teams from the League Stage with three teams that have already qualified, namely Team SMG, Alter Ego LIMAX, and another team that has yet to be announced.
