PMSL SEA Spring 2023 Finals: Alter Ego Ares Grab The SEA Title!

The three-day Finals of the PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) SEA Spring 2023 concluded with matches on Sunday (16/4/23). The final six matches will decide which team will become the King of SEA in the PUBG Mobile competitive scene this season.

Indonesia's representative team, Alter Ego Ares was able to maintain the top of the standings it had held since the first day of Finals. Stealing a head start by racking up big points on the opening day, the AE team showed a strong determination to win the competition. AE Rosemary was named MVP as well as Gunslinger.

It's safe to say that this is a new record for the Indonesian team because not only the SEA title, AE Ares alson became the first team to win the first PMSL series competition. Previously, this Southeast Asian competition was called the PMPL SEA Championship.

AE main rival, ShineLikeDiamond, since the third week of regular season have shown some pretty good form. Attempting to catch up on points in the last three matches to close the competition with WWCD, the SLD team had to settle for being runner-up with a total of 158 points, just 3 points difference from AE who pocketed 161 points.

In third place was the Malaysian team, Yoodo Alliance. With the same 158 points, the YALL team is in third place because the placement points of SLD are greater. Meanwhile, Vampire Esports and BOOM Esports, who had filled the Top 3, were instead relegated to the fourth and fifth positions after both were too soon to get significant additional points.

With this result, the top two teams of PMSL SEA Spring 2023 will represent the Southeast Asian region in a tournament with a higher caste, namely the PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) 2023, namely Alter Ego Ares and ShineLikeDiamond.

PMWI 2023 will be held offline in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in July 2023. Will Alter Ego Ares can continue their shine?
