Alter Ego LIMAX is the next team to decide to release all of its roster ahead of PMPL ID Spring 2023. Via their official Instagram, Alter Ego Esports announced that their PUBG Mobile division has officially disbanded.
LIMAX is a new squad for the PUBG Mobile division from Alter Ego. This team brought in all former rosters from Aerowolf since June 30, 2021.
Alter Ego LIMAX is a team that has played consistently in two PMPL ID seasons in 2022. This has brought LIMAX the opportunity to represent Indonesia in the PMGC 2022. Unfortunately, the results were not satisfactory because this team was only able to finish 14th in the final standings.
If you look at the post from Alter Ego Esports, it seems that Alter Ego LIMAX has indeed disbanded the line up from their PUBG Mobile division. As data from Liquipedia, the status of the LIMAX players has become former, which means they are truly separated from the team.
Starting from Potato as the team captain, Ponbit, Renalre, SuperUna, Fanatic, until Aces are no longer part of LIMAX. However, Defiand and Morfeus are still on the team as coaches and analysts.
The truth of whether the LIMAX roster has really separated from the team or whether it will re-enter under a different name is still a big question mark. If they are no longer united in one team, then the name LIMAX will only remain a memory in the Indonesian PUBG Mobile scene.
After releasing LIMAX, Alter Ego certainly needs new players to fill the roster that will compete in PMPL ID Spring 2023. Rosemary, PMPL ID Fall 2022 MVP, is rumored to be joining the Alter Ego team.
If it is true that Rosemary is included in the roster, then Alter Ego still needs 3-4 more players to fight for their first title in PMPL ID. On the other hand, LIMAX players have to fight extra hard to get a team and compete in the next tournament.
Good luck in the next opportunity, LIMAX!
