ONIC Esports is MPL ID S12’s Champion, back-to-back-to-back!

The final battle to determine the best Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports team in MPL ID S12 has ended! ONIC Esports once again won the championship, after defeating Geek Fam at the Grand Final of MPL ID S12 with an end score of 4-2!

The MPL ID S12 Grand Final which pitted ONIC Esports vs Geek Fam was an unpredictable match, as the two teams are as far apart as heaven and earth.

ONIC Esports came in as the defending champions while aiming for a fifth title, while Geek Fam, the Dark Horse of this season’s MPL ID, made its first debut to the top of Playoffs in history. 

Previously, both teams had already met in the Upper Bracket Finals of MPL ID S12, where the fierce match ended with a final score of 3-2. ONIC Esports had the upper hand, but Geek Fam was able to provide resistance until the last second.

MPL ID S12 Grand Final Battle

In the Grand Final round, ONIC Esports once again showed us why they are the champion of MSC 2023 and the defending champion of MPL ID for two consecutive seasons. Geek Fam were kept at bay in the first three games.

With their backs against the wall, the Dark Horse team went on a rampage in game 4 by pinning ONIC Esports in their base. Baloyskie et al. weren't about to hand over the MPL ID S12 trophy to ONIC Esports without a fight.

This nightmare continued for ONIC Esports in game 5. Completely dominant in the early to mid game, Geek Fam managed to turn things around and crush ONIC Esports with one straight push. Unfortunately, Geek Fam's "fuel" had run out in game 6. 

ONIC Esports unleashed the Hilda Roamer meta that left Geek Fam in the dust. Unlike the last two games, ONIC Esports destroyed Geek Fam's base pretty quickly and won the MPL ID S12 Grand Final!

ONIC Esports' 5th MPL Indonesia title

The MPL ID S12 championship is the 5th title for ONIC Esports, starting from Season 3, Season 8, and back-to-back-to-back starting from Season 10 and 11. With this result, ONIC Esports is also officially the most successful Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports team in Indonesia! Congratulations, ONIC Esports!
