The stage of domination was again shown by Vampire Esports after the Thailand team won the PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) 2023 - Main Tournament title with a perfect record!
PMWI 2023 - Main Tournament, which was supposed to be a stage for 16 of the strongest PUBG Mobile esports teams in the world to fight for 3 days (July 14-16, 2023), actually became a showcase for how strong the Vampire Esports team is. After all, almost all the titles available in this tournament were brought home by the Vampire.
Since the first day, Vampire Esports instantly showed its dominance by reaching the top of the standings and 20 points adrift of 2nd place. Despite only getting 1 Winner-Winner Chicken Dinner (WWCD), Vampire Esports have collected 54 elimination points in just one day.
The dominance continued until the next day. Vampire Esports never once dropped from the number 1 spot, and ended PMWI 2023 - Main Tournament with a total of 227 points from an accumulation of 85 placement points and 142 kill points and a collection of 4 WWCDs!
Second place went to Chinese team Six Two Eight with 138 points. Serbia's Gaimin Gladiators locked up 3rd place with 121 points, becoming the best European team in PMWI 2023.
Aside from the title, Vampire Esports also took home almost every award available, breaking several records from previous tournaments.
The MVP, Gunslinger, and Grenade Master titles went to their flagship player, TonyK. Even the Best Team Presentation title of 10,000 USD went to Vampire Esports, with Alter Ego ARES coming in second.
Records broken by Vampire Esports include: Total WWCDs (4 WWCDs); Most Top 3 Finishes (10 times); Total Rescues (SchwepXz, 18 times), and Total Eliminations (TonyK, 53 Eliminations). There's no telling how much money they managed to bring back to Thailand, just from this PMWI 2023 - Main Tournament.
Congratulations to Vampire Esports, and see you at PMGC 2023!
