Esports Charts has gathered the data from all esports tournament in the past 2022, and it turns out that RRQ Hoshi is on the #2 position of the most popular esports team in 2022. In 2022, RRQ Hoshi has 88,28 million total hours watched and 2,8 million peak viewers. It is slightly higher than the infamous Natus Vincere (Na'Vi)'s CS:GO team, which gathered a total of 74,43 million hours watched and 2,1 million peak viewers.

Na'Vi's CSGO team is one of the most highly regarded team in the esports scene. They're considered as one of the "legends" by gamers, but this year is not just their year as they're bested by mobile gamers at this time.

In the the other place, RRQ Hoshi's rival, ONIC Esports and EVOS Esports's MLBB team didn't want to be left out behind. On the Esports Charts report, ONIC Esports and EVOS Legends is also elected as one of the most popular esports team in the #6 and #8 spot respectively.

However, despite the popularity that RRQ Hoshi gained this year, they still hasn’t reached the very top yet, as T1's League of Legends is still chilling on the number 1. They scored a whooping 112,93 million total hours watched and 5,1 million peak viewers.

After disbanding their DOTA 2 roster, T1 finally can maximize their League of Legends team potential to the fullest, and by today, we can see the bright result of it. Although they didn't win the major LoL tournament yet, we can expect huge improvement on the next year.
